We come to the library with what we have, to be who we are, or who we’re striving to be. The library doesn’t just tolerate diversity, it celebrates it. Throughout the changing social climate of our city the library without bias reminds us of our history and what we believe in. The values of the library are Detroit values. Our goal is to capture the spirit of the Detroit Public Library; to tell your story, and what you believe in because we believe in you.
