The Detroit Public Library's Digital Collections (DC) is proud to report that it has reached more than 1 million page views! In less than 17 months nearly 48,000 virtual users have visited the DC more than 70,000 times and have looked at items more than 1 million times.  It would take about 13 years for Special Collections to record 48,000 on site visitors!  To date there are nearly 80,000 items in the DC with new content being added weekly.  The Foundation is proud to sup...

What do you wish for in 2016 for Detroit? 


We are in the holiday seasons, thinking about family, friends, what gifts to give, what gifts we are going to get and what the next year will bring. 2015 has been a year of a lot of change, both ups and downs. It makes you wonder what 2016 will bring.  If you could make a wish for Detroit and its residents what would that wish be?
