“When I was a five or six-year-old little girl in Managua Nicaragua, I decided I wanted to be a librarian. One day when I came home from the library I made my own card catalogue system for my family’s books. According to me, I was putting all the books in order! I liked the idea of being a librarian so much that it became my profession. I feel that it is my calling. I like what I do because it comes from my heart.
I feel very fortunate to work at Bowen branch because it gives me the opportunity to meet people from all cultures and backgrounds and learn from them because each person is unique and has a lot to offer to the world”
